Program Summary

KBR supports the operational needs of U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base in Spain and several bases in Turkey. Our services ensure smooth operations, allowing Air Force and government personnel to focus on their missions. We provide program management, civil engineering, morale, welfare, and recreation support, among other essential services. Awarded by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center, our contract spans a five-year base period with three one-year options, reflecting our commitment to excellence and operational support.

Job Summary

Food Service attendants assist in all food service-related tasks. They must follow the cooks’ instructions and occasionally the shift supervisors on duty too. Due to the nature of the operation, this can be a labor-intensive job due to the hours of operation and food preparation on demand.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Serve and replenish food on the serving line. Clean and sanitize equipment in accordance with proper procedures.
• Notify cooks if food or supplies are running out during a meal. Operate dishwasher by following posted procedures.
• Assist cook with all food preparation. Prepare and serve grilled food. Follow standard recipes. Check food temperatures.
• Always wear a clean uniform and pertinent personal protective equipment.
• Work shifts
• Complete all required training
• Follow and adhere to all safety guidelines and measures.

Basic Qualifications

• Food Handler’s Certificate
• High School Diploma
• Minimum of one year experience in restaurant/hospitality industry
• English level I

Preferred Qualifications

• Read, write, and speak English level II
• Computer skills
• Experience serving food in a military environment
• Experience working in groups/teams
