Job Description:

An opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineering Empennages Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Tablada (Seville). The Development and Process Engineer Position in the Manufacturing Engineering in Empennages Area organization of Tablada.

Tablada has the role to deliver Empennages to the Final Assembly Lines of the different programs and customers, with the main mission to protect them while being competitive.

The main activities are:

Ø Collaborative-Design to Manufacturing (Co-Design/Co-Indus)

Ø Contribute to all phases of the design to ensure industrial needs are taken into account.

Ø Push industrial requirements to Engineering (specific design/M&P) & Supply Chain.

Ø Introduce Manufacturing best practice/ standardization into design

Ø Define Build Process for ME

Ø Calculate the time at operation level

Ø Manage Technical Sequencing

Ø Specify industrial asset (Jigs, Tools, Tooling, Machines,…) requirements for creation or modification

Ø Drive implementation of 1st installation with required shop floor feedback loops for Manufacturing readiness (production handover)

Ø Plan regular feedback loops with the Production Team

Ø Accountable for configuration management (in particular Delta 2) For more details refer to Airbus commercial procedure referential A2853.3 ØIndustrializationDefine Build Process for MECalculate the time at operation level

Ø Manage Technical SequencingSpecify industrial asset (Jigs, Tools, Tooling, Machines,…) requirements for creation or modification.

ØDesign Build Process Responsible of the integrated Manufacturing Dossier covering all means needed for shop floor execution as: Create / update routings / BoM / SOI taken into account shop floor needs, Time calculation and Work Preparation Golden Rules in accordance with applicable ABP processesPerform Standard Work (The best way to perform tasks described in the SOI-The How)

ØImplement Standard Time Value in RoutingsEnsure Execution of robust, reliable and safe operationsRun and support PFMEA/FMEA.

ØSupport to shopfloor. Plan regular feedback loops with the Production. Team Participate Quality control board by providing measurement tasks.

ØRun and secure capability process Components/parts definition.

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Educated in Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree  or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years in in assembly with experience on Co-Design, Industrialization and Support to the production lines or as Process Engineer in Manufacturing Engineering.
• Proactive person.
• Collaboration mind-set, team spirit and communication skills are consider a must in this role.
• Advanced level in English and Spanish
